Gutster Tips & Tricks #1

Roofing - All Roofing Materials!

Your Gutster Demo-Bar can be used to remove shingles by simply sliding the points under any edge of the shingles. If removing entire foofs, we recommend first cutting the roof between existing rafters with an 8″ carbon tip blade from roof ridge to bottom of roof. (fig. 1). The at either end, break roof with the chisled points of the bar. Find the rafter and center the forks of your Gutster Demo-Bar on it, lift off sections one by one. (fig. 2 & fig. 3)

Flooring - All Flooring Materials!

Cut wood flooring into 4-foot sections using a 7″ skill saw set to the depth of the floor to be removed. Use chisled points of your Gutster Demo-Bar to begin working up flooring. Slide bar head under loosened floor boards using angled lifter plates to pry flooring, sliding flat bottom of head on surface. (fig. 4 & fig. 5)

Walls & Ceilings
Using chisled points, break through sheetrock or wood on walls to locate studs. Using full length of bar chip through ceiling to locate and expose part of beam. (fig. 6 & fig. 7)

Straddle the stud or beam, slide bar along using angled lift plate to pry off material. (fig. 8.)

The Gutster Demo-Bar can be used to straighten and remove rafters and studs. Slide rafter or stud between the forks of the bar and twist into position, or completely twist out. (fig. 9 & fig. 10)

The Gutster Demo-Bar is not for use on concrete!
